All years bring change but this one was particularly significant to me. As I welcomed my first child into the world, we launched our first basket collection from Africa. (And that was just in the first couple months of the year!) Reflecting on this year past, I’m incredibly grateful for each and every person who supported us, partnered with us, and shared our brand. Each of you who valued the person behind the product, their family, and their dignity over fast fashion. It makes an impact. And, as a new mama navigating building a socially-conscious business while raising a family, it means more to me than I can say.
