This thick woolen blanket from the high mountain town of Momostenango, Guatemala. 100% virgin wool is hand-spun, naturally dyed and woven on a pedal loom.  The minimalist stripe design has been passed down for generations in this town where the men and women work in partnership to clean, dye, and weave the wool.  Due to its handcrafted nature, each blanket varies slightly. 

This blanket helps support ethical employment and provide education for the women and children of the Momostenango Weavers.
